1. General Information

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Paso (“App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using Paso, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

Paso is a productivity application that helps users organize their life through notes, tasks, and a timeline view, available as a web, iOS, and Android app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Paso.
You are responsible for all content you create and store within the App.

3. Free Plan and Subscription

Paso offers two usage tiers:

Free Plan

  • The free plan allows you to use the app fully in local mode.

  • Data is saved on your device and linked to your Paso account.

  • Your data is not synchronized between devices in this plan.

Premium Subscription

  • The premium plan unlocks real-time synchronization and cloud backup across all your devices.

  • Subscription options: $5 per month or $40 per year, both including a 7-day free trial for new users.

Payments and renewals are securely handled by the respective platforms (Google Play, App Store, or Paddle) according to their terms and policies.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

4. Refund Policy

Paso uses Paddle as the Merchant of Record for all web purchases.

Customers are entitled to request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
All refund requests for web purchases are processed by Paddle in accordance with the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. To request a refund, please contact Paddle Order Support at paddle.net.

Purchases made via the Apple App Store or Google Play are handled directly by those platforms under their respective refund policies. Please contact Apple or Google directly for those requests.

5. Accounts

To use Paso, you must create an account (e.g., via Google Sign-In).
Your account allows you to store data locally on your device and, if you activate a subscription, to synchronize data between devices.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account,

  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.

If you delete your account, locally stored data may be removed from your device and will no longer be recoverable.

6. User Content

You retain full ownership of all notes, tasks, and other data you create in Paso.

When synchronization is enabled, you grant us permission to securely store your data on our servers (Firebase) solely to provide cloud backup and sync functionality.
We do not access or share your content except as necessary to maintain the service or comply with the law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Paso for illegal or harmful purposes,

  • Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the App,

  • Copy or redistribute Paso’s software or assets without authorization.

8. Termination

You may stop using Paso at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to premium features if you violate these Terms or abuse the service.

All locally stored data will remain on your device after cancellation unless deleted manually.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Paso is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that Paso will meet every user’s specific needs.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paso Maciej Brzeziński is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.
When changes occur, we will update the “Last updated” date and notify users via the App or our website when appropriate.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union.
Any disputes will be resolved by the competent court having jurisdiction over the service provider’s registered address.
